Jeri, Thanks for showing us that picture of your pillow. It is a beautiful piece of artwork itself. I really like all the varieties of pillows. I also enjoy trying to make different ones for my own collection. My D shaped roller pillow I take with me to heritage demonstrations I made modeled after a Belgium pillow I saw a pic of sometime ago. It has a few details that I still need to work out, like a dowel or rod to roll the finished lace on and a more sturdy backing so I can finish putting a drawer in the backside.
Finding a carry case first and making a pillow to work in it might be an option I would toy with later on. ;) -- Mark, aka Tatman blog: http://tatmantats.wordpress.com/ Tatman¹s Online Shop: http://tatman.etsy.com email: [email protected] On 6/10/09 6:38 PM, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: > Especially for Mark (Tatman), and those who'd like to view, > > Lacefairy has put up the picture of my pillow that fits in a travel case. > (Don't think I ever sent this to you.) > > _http://lace.lacefairy.com_ (http://lace.lacefairy.com) > In Gallery column select 3rd from last "Lace Pillows" option; then "Roller" > on next menu. > > The grape-colored pillow (3rd picture) fits in a travel case like those > Mark mentioned (below).
