There's no right or wrong direction for winding a bobbin. [Okay, some people believe S-twist thread should be wound the opposite direction from Z-twist thread, but I haven't found any consistent difference between them.] The only thing that matters is that the direction of the hitch is correct. If your bobbins unwound, you should have only needed to reverse the hitches. Of course, nobody at their first class is going to know that. Robin P.
