My thanks to all of you who put their two cents in on the smelly books
discussion. In preparation for my trip to IOLI, I was handed a book for
study, and I just about fell over from the smell! Mildew! The book had a
post it note on it saying water mark, and yet I couldn't see one. I
could sure smell it, though!
As the book was no good to me as it was, I took my heart in my hands and
ironed the inside covers!!! The smell was gone almost instantly! I am
curious to see if the smell stays away, or perhaps some pages are
contaminated... we will see. In the meantime, THANK YOU for all the
ideas that were put out there.
