Hi, Bronwen, I, too make needlelace (and bobbin lace) and there are quite a few of us on the list, - so No, it is not just for bobbin lacers!
I, too, like the early laces, and do a lot of Retucells (punto in aria), and Gros point, too. I like the florals of Point de Gaze, and I have now also "discovered" filet lace, which I do on holidays and when out and about, as I can see it without my big magnifier!!!
