We don't have rules about off-list solicitation, so I have to decide on a case-by-case basis. In general, solicitation is not a big problem in the lace world because there are far fewer suppliers, designers, etc., compared to knitting and crochet. If you feel that your email address is being abused, I would like to be informed.
