Not only is it a shame that the centre has closed, but some people have lost 
money because of it. One of my lace acquaintances was at the Kantcentrum a 
couple of weeks ago and paid her subscription for the coming year's 
magazines in cash - money now lost. Those who have paid for upcoming courses 
have also lost their money, unless they paid by credit card when they should 
be able to claim it back from the card company. My lace teacher said that 
she heard that the centre staff will get 4 weeks pay, but apart from that 
......

Nothing is safe in the current economic climate.
