Hi Sue,
The letter "S" is very sweet... I believe it is probably machine-made,
and is what is referred to as "chemical lace", because the design is
machine embroidered on a special fabric or paper which is then dissolved
away, leaving the threads.

3 of them, one a sprig of flowers, one a musical clef and notes and the 3rd
which is the letter S, for obvious reasons:-)
I have put that one (3 times the size) into my folder on arachne under
