Hello everybody,
in Germany we have a word "kurios" - as a saying "das ist ziemlich kurios",
what means something is a bit odd, strange, not really clear, something to
laugh about. Today it seems still a bit old fashioned. And as we all know, that
big parts of the German language came from the English, so it make for me sense
that curious in English could have another sense in former times than today.
