It is the annual 'Lace Issue'. With articles on Dresden Lace Embroidery
(Drawn work), Tatting (story about a sample book of tatting samples put
together by Irene Buckland of Connecticut, died 1998), Purse trimmed with
tatting and beads, An Orenburg Honeycomb Lace Scarf pattern, Lace cuffs on
anklets featuring Estonian Nupps, Lace Bonnets from the Netherlands (with a
pattern), articles on Point de Gaze, Spanish Laces, and the Crocheted-Lace
Challenge II (crocheting and edging that looks like Maltese Lace).
The Niebling article shows his patterns made up by various knitters and gives
a pattern for a Lace bag inspired by his designs.

A very nice 'read with eye candy' and patterns for those who wish to try the
techniques.
Lorri, who read it cover to cover last night and now wants to try the
patterns.

Subject: [lace] New Piecework on Lace
