A fairly new maker in Oz is Gerry Giesaitis in Corrimal, who makes a lovely line of laminated wood bobbins in all sorts of lovely colours, as well as beautifully turned plain wood bobbins. My DH no longer makes bobbins for sale, Helen, but he still makes the occasional one for me - he is experimenting with acrylic pen blanks, and made me some lovely bobbins with square bodies to them. My favourite Oz bobbin maker is Neil Keats - Arachnid Tamara put me on to his "T-squares".
