Hello Sue and everyone I wondered what to make for a gent, when I made two for an aunt and uncle. I showed the uncle one I was making in blue thread, a Torchon pattern. He liked it. The aunt preferred one that was a cross. I think as long as the colours are neutral or in the green/blue/brown range, you could please almost anyone, with any style you'd like.
