http://picasaweb.google.com/mcospo/NAVALCARNERO2009# I have found a lot of Spanish bobbin lacemakers on picasa. It is giving me a much better picture of Spanish lacemaking that I have ever had. They do a lot of torchon, especially very wide pieces, but also laces I don't know quite how to classify: mesh grounded (rose/virgin ground or a torchon variant, but with floral motifs. Sort of what I would call "continental guipure" except mesh grounded, not bar grounded. And lots of tape lace. I love to see what lacemakers in other countries are doing.
