If you read the text, Example 1 refers to the fact it has a net ground. (top page 23), and Example 2 states it has "plaited brides". The photos have obviously been swapped over, - or the text has been swapped. Whatever - they refer to their opposites!! Still, it is a very interesting book, with lots of great photos of lace!
