So, the circumference of the roll is approx. 23.55cm.
For each yard the roller has to go fully around almost 4 times.
However, this does not tell me at what point youir pricking wore out.

Dear Friends,
I'm still making yards of fine point ground edging and as usual my
pricking is a photocopy covered with thin green plastic film. The
roller on the pillow is about 3" (7.5cm) in diameter.
I wonder if you can guess how many times the roller rotated before I
had to replace the pricking. Is it: 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10
I'll tell you the answer tomorrow night....
