Hi All: It is the RSN (Royal School of Needlework) press release that described the Carrickmacross technique, and I guess they know what they're talking about.
I wonder, though, if there is some confusion between the lace used on the veil and the lace used on the dress, which don't look like they're made with the same technique. I am hoping that somebody with a super camera will get some extreme closeups of both the dress and the veil lace, so we can have more to go on.
