Hello Again! Thanks to all for the info in my in-box! I had just found the same photo as Brenda--#7 of 150 on RoadRunner--& saw the little "pops" as well. When I took a class, that is what they were called & they are made by outlining a small box, then making 3-4 buttonhole stitches in each box. They really define the center of the flower motif on her cuff & are a standard feature of Carrickmacross. So glad to see RSN get its well deserved Andy Warhol 15 minutes of fame.
