I understand that David wears lace when he conducts - hopefully he'll
see this and write about it for you!
I wouldn't dream of conducting without it!!
BUT even more relevant than that is the fact that I also wouldn't
dream of making lace without music of some sort playing. Many years
ago now Jana Nicol of Lansing, Michigan (former Arachnid still on
Facebook) sent me a CD of some local group playing the most beautiful
music to make lace by. I could dig it out - but I do know that it's
mainly flue and zither.
