Dona, Thanks for sharing your mushroom pictures! It indeed is very lacy looking. Definetly NOT torchon!!! Needle lace or Bucks maybe? I like your new roller pillow. I also have one made from Mrs. Southard's instructions. Mine is a medium blue. My Dad and Mom helped me make it 30 years ago when I'd just started making lace. Both of them are gone now so it brings back some memories. I don't use it very often for projects as I don't make much yardage. For many years I've set it up with an easy and colorful torchon piece and taken it to lace demos as a have a go pillow. Have it sitting in the back seat of my car as I am going to the grand summer opening of our local farmers market. There will also be spinners and a potter doing their thing as well.
