Hi all,

I do a bit of teaching so have multiples of my teaching prickings as well as
my personal prickings.

I use laminated paper prickings so the majority of the prickings for storage
are A4 or smaller but the fan prickings are slightly larger than A3.

If I have gone to the effort of producing the pricking and actually PRICKING
it I sure don't want to toss it out after use so storage is the answer until
I want to remake that pattern - but how to store it so I can find it later?

I started with trying to store them at the back of the books they came from,
but some are from Lace Express or Australian Lace magazines and some are the
ones I have designed.

Right now some are in plastic sleeve files - sorted on type ; length,
cornered, christmas, mat etc some with my teaching notes some in the stack
on the bookshelf some ... It is just not *organised* so when I am hunting
for a pricking I can never find it until I remake the darn thing.

Considering: But please let me/us know of a different/better way

putting a numbered sticker on each pricking and storing them numerically in
bunches of 20 in suspension files in the filing cabinet - marking the
original source (book, mag) in pencil with the pricking number

Did I make your brain hurt with all this?

Hugs
