Hello all, Textile Support is looking for submissions and expressions of interest for their fist international symposium of young lace makers planned for October 2012. The theme of the first symposium will be *"Doyley-Free Zone: Raising the status of lace and lace making" *and we are accepting proposals for papers on this subject as well as pieces to exhibit in the categories of art, fashion and design from lace makers under the age of 35. The symposium will take place in Pavia, Italy and will also offer the opportunity to visit some of Italy's most famous lace making centres in the days following the symposium.
