Thanks, dear spiders, for the birthday greetings. I've been trying to fend off a winter cold, so I'm rather quiet these days. Tomorrow night my husband gets back from the UK (he was supposed to be back tonight but a general strike this morning killed that plan) and it will be my Hebrew birthday (12 Heshvan). One of the great things about being Jewish is having two birthdays.Hey, any excuse for a party! ;-)
My officemate, Masha, has the same Hebrew birthday. For the past two years we've been bringing in cakes and treats and inviting our coworkers to drop by for our 8-hour party.
