Hello All! Thank you for the explanation! I didn't realize that boot buttons were leather. The glass & MOP ones I own were purchased as shoe buttons, so perhaps there is a difference?! But you've given me a spring project--to check two pairs of vintage childrens boots (over the ankle) to see what sort of buttons are attached. Details, details.
