Books are not the only silly priced things on Amazon. I was looking for a
supply of union jack stickers and while looking also found some union jack
lapel pins for 1p each. So I ordered 3 as well as a roll of stickers. The
postage was more than 71 pounds sterling. When I deleted the 3 pins the
postage dropped to 2 pounds. So, the postage for 3 lapel pins was more than
69 pounds. I'd ordered them from Amazon UK to be delivered to and address
in the UK, because the postage quoted from label makers in the US was so
high to send them to Canada.
Lace content? I want the UK labels for when Jacquie and I go to the Lace
Mostra in Camariñas, northern Spain, in early April.
Malvary in Ottawa where we have had a heat wave for the past few days,
record breaking temperatures for 4 or 5 days. As my gran would have said
"We'll pay for this later"
