Hello Sue and everyone Something to consider is that glass or acrylic directly on the lace isn't good for it; there needs to be a breathing space for a clear covering over a textile. Perhaps that is why the magazine item is sold without the glass, combined with having a clockwork fitting. You might need to check on the minimum thickness required for the hands to operate outside the covering? I have a quartz clockwork on a wood face and can see there wouldn't be any room for a clear cover, unless the pivot can be extended. Good luck.
