You said it! How on earth can they market this as "the latest evolution in photo management"? There is no management! Managing photos is tagging them, captioning them, sorting them.... this is really rather useless. We'll need one of the other solutions, I think. But if we go with a solution where everyone needs to re-upload their photos, we will lose a great deal of the ones currently on Webshots from people who are no longer on the list or no longer active or just too busy to bother.
