I apologise for sending me email about the Lace Street to the wrong address. I have two entries next to each other in my contacts list, one is lace for Arachne and the other is for the Lace Guild. Thanks to everyone who has written. I cannot send a link for the picture yet as it was intended to go to the Lace Guild for their appeal for houses, shops, buildings, etc., for a Lace Street that they intend to make a frieze of lace buildings for use on their table at lace events. If and when the picture is published, then I will be free to put it on Flickr.
I was having a horrid time with my scanner and printer after my DH upgraded to Mountain Lion on the Mac last weekend. When I finally got it working together, I was in a hurry to send it off to the Lace Guild office before they closed for the day and I did not check the addy. I only knew I had a problem when I just opened my mail. I imagine Jane Partridge can give more details about their appeal for lace. I think the deadline in in early January. I used a photo of my house for the pattern and did the building in needlelace. I showed it to my non-lace friends last night at my British club meeting and they were very impressed, but they think everything I do is great as none of them do any handwork. Arachne does not accept photos. That is why everyone has been in a frenzy to set up a new site for pictures.
