Jean Horne was on this list for awhile and lives in South Africa.  She may 
still be on the list, but I  haven't seen her post for a long time.


Is this the pricking that you are talking about?  I was sent it by Jean a 
few years ago.  If so , it looks as if the area below the Holy family is 
worked in cloth stitch in one direction. Before working the next row from 
right to left, the passives are worked in pairs in cloth stitch and twist 
(ctct), then you work the row in cloth stitch (CTC) and so on.  You will 
find this happening in various Milanese braids.

She used to sell booklets of lace patterns worked in colour at one point, 
but I haven't seen them for a while, and there may well be more booklets out 
now.  -
