The "spontaneous opera" or other similar performances are generally
called "flash mobs" I think, where the performers appear to be just
part of the crowd in a mall, etc. and gradually assemble into a
performing ensemble, then dissipate back into the "crowd". What about
a group of lacemakers setting up one by one "spontaneously" in a mall
or other such place, perhaps with a "boombox" playing some appropriate
"lacemaking music"....for a few minutes, and then just as gradually,
one by one, packing up and disspiating back into the crowd? The idea
makes me giggle just thinking about it...(-: I think I just might
organize one! DH suggests outside of Victoria's Secret? (-:
Vicki in Maryland where we are having unusually warm weather (and I
want snow! (-:)

Purists would argue against "spontaneous opera" at the mall but it
makes
the news cycle & YouTube. Lacemakers, we need to go viral!
Is there a lace equivalent to Yarn Bombing?
