Dear all, I think many of you practice Flanders lace. The very old Flanders lace didn't have a gimp. Since when the gimp was introduced in the Flanders lace? Does anyone know exactly?
Most laces started with the 5-holes meshground. Valenciennes and Mechlin used the 5-holes ground. Why Brussels lace didn't? Thank you already for answers.
