I was not quite there at the the beginning. as I did not start making lace until about 2004/5, though I had a short period of a couple of months trying about 10 years earlier. Through another member on the list, Sue Duckles, told me about it, and I subscribed. So she has been a member longer than I have. As we have 2 years or so to go until the 20th anniversry, we have plenty of time to think about how to celebrate it. As mentioned, a commemorative bobbin is pne option. We could e.g. ask Stuart Johnson, as he does inscriptions, as does Mike Bester in South Africa and probably many more. The other is to make a lace panel, with each member doing a part of it....
