My Tatting book for deserted island is The Complete Book of Tatting by Rebecca Jones.
Was told on my first day it is The Book and I must admit if I want to know something it is always the first place I look...some great patterns including motifs, booties and edgings plus lots of how-to and ideas. I love Mary Konier (but still wishing for the Visual Patterns book), and have a few other 'favorites', but the above is the info loaded go to book for me.
