Hello Jeri and everyone Thank you for your thoughtful tribute Jeri, and excellent review of the Canadian Lacemaker Gazette!
For my part it was the best publishing experience ever, guiding a national lace magazine. There was indeed the priceless support of lace friends: subscribers, those who send articles and patterns, and the production team. One of my first tasks as the editor in 2000 was to construct a basic website. Web design is not my forté and I figured if anyone wanted to do better, they would offer to do so. They haven't, no doubt preferring to make lace :) The new editor has some good ideas. For now the web decor remains basic, information is up-to-date. www.lacegazette.com ps - a project dear to our hearts since the release of the first CD, which was our first ever digital media review, is the one Tess is involved with, the digital archive of lace documents: http://www.cs.arizona.edu/patterns/weaving/lace.html or through www.handweaving.net On Sat, Jul 13, 2013 at 9:42 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > Years ago, Tess told me about the quarterly Canadian Lacemaker Gazette, > and I subscribed immediately. > ....
