Hello Again! Tuesday is EGA (Embroiderers' Guild) Day for me so I was planning to wear some lace. However, in honor of the wire lace I made over the weekend, I'm planning to WOW the embroiderers with my Le Pompe piece! There are plenty of beginner mistakes to be sure, but the overall effect is stunning. The lace is so fresh, modern & approachable. Very catchy, like a tune you can't get out of your head. Makes me wonder if a new/different audience could be attracted to lace thru this technique?!? Or would the couturier industry take an interest--passementerie with a twist/cross? ;-) Obviously my wire lace has upped the ante for Tues.! Sincerely, Susan Hottle, Erie, PA USA
