Ehud - I suggest you learn the basic knotted lace first - and I learned from Elena Dickson's book - Knotted lace in the Eastern Mediterranean Tradition, but it is an old book, and may not be available. Her 2nd book is similar , with all the basic instructions in it, called Mediterranean Knotted Lace. this will get you going. Her new book is Bebilla Flowers - probably what you are looking for, but learn the basics first. The Bebilla is slightly different - but the same basic knot.
There are other books available, but these are the books I have, and have worked from - and learned from! She has good instructions and good diagrams.
