I found a few tidbits in some quite old Embroiderers' Guild newsletters that might amuse, to share 7. When I was giving a lecture, I wore an antique lace shawl. After commenting that it was at least 100 years old, one of the students asked, "Did you do the work yourself?" <unquote> LOL, I would have said "Yes, I was just 13 at the time" just to see if they really meant the question. Then again I am prone to answer stupid questions with non nonsensical answers.
