Yes, I found this an ideal demo piece as well as it is showy as well as relatively easy. I got the pattern from an 'Anna' magazine many years ago and used it over a period of about 5 years for demos and reckon that approximately 550 people -ages ranging from 4 to 86 year olds and both sexes- have done a little on it over this time. I prefer to use a piece I work on as well as it makes it more interesting for other people (possible future lace makers). Mine does not look quite as good as yours because of variations in tension, but I love it as a memento of many very happy demos.
