We visited the museum last year and it´s well worth the trip. In the main
street, just before you reach the museum, there is a lace shop called
"Lydia".
At the back of the shop and upstairs there is a lovely collection of lace,
you
´ll probably have to ask them to switch on the lights.

We found several ladies making needlelace in the lace shops, they admitted
that
most of the lace found in Burano is neither made there or even hand made.
Lots
of cheap Chinese lace for tourists, sad but filling a commercial need.

Subject: [lace] Lace Museum in Burano, Italy

I just found this article in the Italy Magazine and thought you would find
it
very interesting about the lace collection in Burano. Definitely looks
like
it is worth visiting, but if you can't there is also a short video in this
link.
