I am sorry I didn't see your query earlier, been busy and not following
Arachne for a while. Two years ago when in Paris, went to Chantilly saw
the Chateau there and then went on into the town and found the lace
"Museum" a small three roomed place in the Municipal area [not the
address given].
A lovely exhibition and they still teach there and have courses
demonstrating lace. We met a woman, who had lived in South Africa, who
was one of the custodians and was very helpful. I would recommend a visit.
