Alice was my paternal grandmother and my inspitation. She died the week I turned 10 and one of the last things she did was to teach me to crochet. I am mid 60s and it remains a passion together with bobbin lace, now, and other things. Hope one day to teach Alice lace, she is my granddaughter but only 3, so something for the future.
