Hello All! After working Honiton all weekend, I decided to tackle the pink ribbon again. I've spent some time reading about starts in Practical Skills & can't find any that correspond to the 4-2-2-2-2-2 set up shown. Then I looked for a straight start in the lace books in my cabinet & came up empty handed. Online resources didn't offer any clues either, although "Thank You" to Lorelei & Jo Edkins for some great diagrams! Looking at the Randslag diagram on the LOKK site, it seems like the weaver exchanges with the edge pair on each pass, two twists on each coming out & going back into the work. What am I missing here to get started? Can someone refer me to a diagram or resource? The free LOKK pink ribbon pattern is here: http://www.lokk.nl/gratispatronen/pinkribbon.php Many thanks. Sincerely, Susan Hottle, frazzled in Erie, PA USA
