Thank you Jane--I can't believe I need another Honiton book! In the meantime, I think I've confused the issue. Last weekend was Honiton. This week I'm back to butchering the LOKK pink ribbon pattern. All linen/cloth stitch with a slit to trip up the unwary! After much frustration/exasperation & searching high & low, I finally found a start in Martina's book pg 36, horizontal footside. I'm exhausted so will try this approach tomorrow.
