Has anybody got suggestions for dealing with leftover thread from bobbins please?
I currently have several bags with bobbins that would have been used for various lace projects. These have substantial amounts of thread left on the bobbins and the roll/reel/cone of thread used is in the same bag for identification. When I come to need the bobbins for another, large, project, what should I do with the thread? Too much to discard and yet winding it back onto the original roll/reel/cone will probably result in quite an untidy mess. I promise I tried to look at the archives before posting what I am sure has been discussed before, but they seem to be unavailable for now. On the other hand, the list is a bit quiet so it will give us something to talk about, and perhaps we will also get some newer ideas too.
