I copy my prickings on to color card stock and then use clear contact
paper to cover the pattern.  This way I can use a color that shows my
threads clearly and easier to work my patterns.  Here in the US you
can get it at Walmart -- sometimes they even have a frosted version in
stock which helps to reduce glare.
