I have gone to the website both Sue and Carolina sent, the Museum Kantfabriek in Horst. Has anyone visited this museum? It looks, from the website, as though the emphasis is on machine made lace. There is a video that has machines working, but also what appears to be some kind of lace day with lacemakers. I am wondering how widespread the celebration of this International Lace Day is, and how well known it is among hand lacemakers. Are all the Dutch lacemakers participating in this? Also, is it every year on June 21, or is it the "fourth Sunday in June" or some other formula? Devon
