Hi Susan and everyone There is a search box for the digital archives site, look on the left-hand frame towards the bottom on the home page. It has a Google logo but it is for the site. You can also link to search all of google from there. Maybe the volume by good ol' Mrs. Bury Palliser has something about needlelace? Try searches for needle-made lace, point lace, or any other term you know for such laces in your time-frame. Perhaps 'point+lace+1860+dress' might work for what you want. HTH
