Arachne members get book reviews directly from me, as soon as they are written. However, some companies do not interface with AOL, and some members are not getting mail from Devon and me. It is something to remember if your company does not accept AOL. (Perhaps a weekly check of Arachne archives for missed messages?) The Arachne program needs some modification, and we cannot expect the generous donor of the server to do that. To date, the New England Lace Group has been the only guild to which I have shared a few of these book reviews. This is because they have an exceptional editor, Gail MacLean. The NELG newletters are only for members, because they contain personal information. However, you can select Book Reviews on the open part of the website, thanks to cooperation between Gail and the website manager, Jill Hawkins (in the UK), an Arachne member. One of our active correspondents in California wrote a while back that she had never read my reviews. The most recent Gil Dye book review will be published by NELG about August 1st. It is already set in type and available on the NELG's website. What you all may like is the review format. Perhaps you have purchased some of these books, and would like to print reviews and insert in the books for future reference? http://www.nelg.us Interested in IDRIA lace? You will be able to see members who took an IDRIA class at the Group's 2015 retreat at a convent in Massachusetts, taught by Allie Marguccio.
