 that’s difficult to answer. What is it keeping our eyes and being overwhelm 
from what we see? In my opinion it’s something perfectly personal.
Therefor  I can’t say what I would advise to work. To make lace works 
acceptable for public is to try again and again and to explain why you did 
these pieces.
I know from my experience here in Germany  that this helps. Each time we had an 
exhibition with unusual bobbin lace works we did „guided tours“ that means we 
offered to the public to follow our explanations, answer their question and 
tell them how we work.
Hope I could make it understandable what we did.
