Sylvie When a lace maker reports this problem, the first advice I give is to be sure the hitch is made correctly. But you have a lot of experience, and for you, that can't be the problem. Another possibility would be to put an extra twist on the loop before you stick the bobbin head into the loop. This usually slows the lengthening down considerably. Lorelei
