Yael and others,

Sorry, but there's nothing I can do about spam that comes from a
hacked account. We have spam filters to block regular spam but if a
subscriber's email is hacked and used to send spam, Arachne cannot
differentiate between a legitimate message and a spammer's message.

The only solutions are to use really good passwords and keep antivirus
software up to date, so that malware doesn't copy your keystrokes and
send them to a hacker across the world. Also, be careful about joining
public networks in coffee shops, etc., because some of them may be
traps to gather passwords and credit card information.

If you have Gmail, I recommend 2-step verification (if a device or
computer that doesn't belong to you is used to send emails, your
account will not allow it). For more info about Google's 2-step
verification, go to https://www.google.com/landing/2step/.

Regards,

Avital
