I also sent a message to Facebook bobbin lace list as I had heard that some people had not heard from Kirsten within the last month. Kirsten has written, confirming this is still going ahead and says:
Dear all, unfortunately I had to completely withdraw for a while to deal with my health. Please be assured that my Project Lace Dress, which is so close to my heart, will continue! I also already feel guilty for not contacting so many busy lacemakers by now. I promise that I will take care of everything as soon as possible. I have already received many wonderful letters and laces, I would call them artwork. I am overwhelmed. Thanks to good friends I will be able to realise my project and it is a perfect way to distract myself from my health problems. Thank you so much for your patience!
